Sorrento
A land of colours, of mermaids, of gardens and citrus
The historic centre of Sorrento is spread over imposing terraces of dark rock that look out over the sea, at every corner there is a glimpse of the panorama and breath-taking views over the Gulf of Naples and Vesuvius. Twisted alleys and impressive stairways lead to the port and harbour below. Famous for its limoncello production, a liqueur renowned throughout the world, thanks to the “ovali” lemons of Sorrento, which have a zest rich in essential oils and a distinct aroma, that give limoncello its unique characteristics.
